We are having a simple Christmas at home this year.  I just started looking through some of my vintage cookbooks (something I like to collect) while listening to Christmas music and I'm putting together a Christmas menu before we head out to the grocery store.

While thrift shopping with one of my daughters and my mother last month, I found the pattern on the right...a pattern I remember seeing as a young adult...but was too busy working and studying that I didn't have a chance to make it then.  Last week I found a wreath made with this pattern.  I bought it, brought it home and laundered and reshaped it, gave it a brand new bright red bow (on the top instead of the bottom of the wreath) and it found a home near my cookbooks.
